Today we read And Then Comes Summer by Tom Brenner. This book is about how fun the warmest season of the year can be. During our sensory and science activity, we pretended to have a lemonade stand. Each of our friends took turns pouring the lemonade and we used fake money to pay for the lemonade. Then we learned some sign language using our literacy and fine motor skills. We learned ball, flower, hat, and boat in sign language. For our cognition activity, we practiced writing our names. What a week!
