Happy Friday! Today we read The Best Teacher Ever by Mercer Mayer. In this book, it was teacher appreciation day and he wanted to do something special for his teacher. For our sensory and science activity, we did a science egg drop. We took our eggs and wrapped them in different materials to try and protect the egg. After we got them ready, we took them on the playground to drop them and found out that our eggs bounced on the playground without breaking. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to learn some back to school sign language words. We learned the sign language for slide, swing, shoes, book, and clothes. During our math and cognition skills, we drew one of each school supply that we could think of like glue sticks, crayons, pencils, and rulers.
