Today we read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Chick by Lucille Colandro. For our math and cognition activity, we used colored paint daubers to find the all of the number ones hidden in a number scramble. We then used some cotton balls and a clothespin to paint decorations on a egg with our fine motor skills. In our science and sensory group, we used different coins to try and sink an egg. We talked about how the quarters were heavier than the other coins so they would sink faster and that we would need a lot more dimes to try and sink our egg since they are lighter.
