We had a very crazy leprechaun that came into CLC last night and made a big mess in our building. He knock chairs down, made a mess in our classroom, and put green footprints and handprints throughout the whole building. We read a book called Looking For Leprechauns by Sheila Keenan and illustrated by Paul Meisel. For our math and cognition activity, we made geometry shapes with playdough and shape mats. We then used our fine motor skills to make leprechaun bracelets with cereal and pipe cleaners. During our sensory and science activity, we watched our teachers make leprechaun sand with baking soda and vinegar that had green food coloring in it.
