Today in our red group, we read A Bug C by Edina Romero. In our blue group, we read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault and illustrated by Lois Ehlert. For our math and cognition group, we built different things with Legos and named the color of each block in our tower. We played in our sensory bin using our sensory and science skills. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we recognized different letters that our teacher held up to us.

 In our red group today we read I Spy Letters written by Jean Marollo and illustrated by Walter Wick. In our blue group we read Elmo's ABC Book by Jim Henson and Sarah Albee. We used our sensory and science skills to use letter cookie cutters with playdough. For our math and cognition activity, we recognized different shapes. We also made our letter of the week creation using our literacy and fine motor skills.

In our math and cognition group, we played a memory game. Using our sensory and science skills, we made a tissue paper lantern for our culture craft. We made lanterns because our culture this month is China. We also wrote the words 'lantern' and 'The Great Wall' since they also pertain to our culture this month.
