Today we read Froggy Plays T-Ball by Jonathan London. For our sensory and science activity, we did a science experiment with different types of balls that are used in sports and figured out which ones would sink and which ones would float. In our literacy and fine motor group, we practiced writing our names on our writing boards. We also made our shape art for the letter 'T' and made trees using our math and cognition skills. Next week we are learning about all around the world.

 Today, we read Bella Gets Her Skates On by Ian Whybrow and illustrated by Rosie Reeve. At circle time, we discussed whether or not our friends played outside in the snow yesterday or stayed inside where it was warm. We learned the sign for “ball” during our literacy and fine motor group. For our sensory and science activity, we did a drawing exploration and made different types of balls that different sports use. In our math and cognition group, we recognized shapes by matching shapes with the matching football.

 Today we read Curious George Rides a Bike by H.A. Rey. For our sensory and science activity, we finger painted footballs. In our literacy and fine motor skills, we listened to a book on tape called  Froggy Rides a Bike by Jonathan London. We also used our math and cognition skills to match different types of sports.

 This week we are learning all about sports. Today we read Clifford The Champion by Norman Bridwell. During our math and cognition activity, we counted basketballs (pom poms) on counting mats. For our literacy and fine motor group, we practiced writing the letter 'T' on our white boards. We also made a sensory bin creation using our sensory and science skills.
