This week we are talking about forest animals. First, we danced to some fun forest animal songs like, "Going On a Bear Hunt."  Then, we read Let's Have a Tree Party! by David Martin.  Next, we got in small groups and did activities.  For our sensory and science activity, we played with forest animals in the sensory bin full of small pebbles.  For literacy and fine motor, we practiced writing our names on writing boards and the letter of the week "K".  For math and cognition, they practiced identifying numbers and counting owls.
