This week we are continuing shaking our turkey tail feathers to Thanksgiving songs during music and movement.  Today, we read Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano and illustrated by Lee Harper.  For math and cognition, we did Thanksgiving matching.  For sensory and science, we did turkey hand painting. Miss Megan put their handprints on pot holders.  For literacy and fine motor, we did turkey name practice.  The children had a letter from their name on the each of the turkey's tail feathers.  They colored them and practiced spelling their names. We also had a surprise fire drill today.  The kids responded very well and were cooperative!
