We are having a lot of fun with our Halloween themed songs during music and movement. Today, during circle time, we read Pumpkin Countdown by Steve Metzger. For our sensory and science group, we painted some pumpkins without getting messy from the paint that we put in a ziploc bag. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to trace numbers. For our math and cognition group, we counted how many pumpkins we traced numbers on. Later, we enjoyed playing with sensory putty.
