Today has been a very busy Tuesday! For circle time, we read Three Little Pigs by Lionel Kalish. During movement and music time, we watched and listened to the Frozen II song "All is Found" by Idina Mendzel for fairy tale week in one group.  We did YOGA poses and stretches in another group.  Next, Miss Ashley visited us from the MU Health Extension.  During her visit, we got to dance and follow her moves with different colored scarves to see all colors fruits and vegetables can be from the rainbow.  Then, we played Match the Food to the Color by putting different fruits and veggies on the board. This activity taught us to eat a variety of fruits and veggies.  She also took the children out in groups to water and talk about the major growth of our radish plants.  Later, we did a sensory and math and cognition activity using our fine motor skills to paint a "big bad wolf" and cut shapes out for his snout.  For language and literacy, we practiced writing names on a piece of tape for the back of our projects.  At last, we got to have a blast playing outside for our much needed water day!

Friendly Reminders:

We will have another water day this week on Thursday, July 9th.
