Today we started our Summer Session. During circle time, we read Flip, Float, Fly Seeds on the Move by JoAnn Early Macken. This week is all about flowers and gardening. We went outside to do our small groups today. We did two number activities, where we counted different wildlife and we counted different sized blocks. Then, we went on a nature walk. Some of our friends decided to pick flowers and dandelions. Next, we talked about things that reminded us of Springtime and nice weather. We talked about flowers, leaves changing colors, and warmer weather.
