Today has been a very eventful day!  After breakfast, we had a fun filled water day. This included activities and our favorite visitor from the MU Health Extension, Miss Ashley. The children took turns watering the radishes they planted yesterday in small groups and worked on a puzzle while she read a book. In another group, the kids got to make sensory putty for sensory and science that was scented orange and coconut. The texture changed as they kneaded it. We also had a special activity for fine motor and math making S'mores! We talked about the shapes of the graham crackers as they broke them in half as well as the marshmallows and chocolate. They will be eating their creations at snack time today! We are also planning on reading for We're Going on a Lion Hunt Adapted by Margery Cuyler for literacy this afternoon.

Friendly Reminders:

Please let us know if you would like your child to receive a life jacket from the Camden County Health Department.  We need to know their weight in order to get the right size.
