Today, during circle, time we watched a video, “Why We Celebrate the Fourth of July” by FreeSchool. For our sensory/science and math/cognition activities we used Pom Poms (some friends used brushes) to paint the American Flag. We talked about the red and white stripes, about the square/rectangle shape of the blue, and about the white stars on the flag. Then, for literacy/fine motor we made the letter “F” for “fireworks” out of play doh and we got a container full of objects that began with the letter “F” also. On the playground we noticed that our radishes are already starting to grow!

Friendly Reminder:
CLC will be closed June 29-July 3rd for Summer Break. We will be having a water day tomorrow June 24th and we will also have one on Friday, June 26th.
