Today during circle time, we read What's a penguin to think when he turns pink! by Lynne Rickards, illustrated by Margaret Chamberlain. In a small group, we did an activity where we compared more and less, using heart cut outs. We also named the colors and counted the hearts. In another group, we started making our Valentine bags, which we will continue working on the rest of the week. In another group, we did a heart shaped "Do-A-Dot" activity using paint dotters. In our last group, we worked on a Valentine's Day surprise! We had a heart filled day!
