It was some of our friends' birthday today! We got to sing them "Happy Birthday" in the motor room during music and movement time! At circle time we read, Math Counts Numbers by Henry Pluckrose. We learned what real life objects have numbers on them and how they are used. Our small groups got interrupted by a power outage, but this afternoon we will finish our activities; writing letters in "clouds" (shaving cream), matching rhyming words, and a beach ball number and color naming activity. We had a lot of extra free play time while the power was being restored!
