What a wonderful Wednesday! Today we learned more about snow and ice and we did some fun activities to go along with the theme! At circle time, we read Owl Moon, and we all had a blast hooting like the people and the owl that they searched for in the story! In our large group, we put tiny balls on the parachute that looked like snow and flew them through the air. Our friends had so much fun with this activity! After we were finished with the parachute, we counted however many balls each of us could find. In our next two small groups, we made a penguin small world and made winter process art by tearing up pieces of parchment paper and foil and we used pom poms and tissue paper and we glued these objects to construction paper! We had such a great day!
