Today, during circle time we read The Monster Who Lost His Mean. For our first small group activity,  we put "ghosts" which were packing peanuts with faces on them, into water to watch them "disappear". For our second small group, we used q-tips to trace pictures of pumpkins. For our final small group, we matched pictures of ghosts. We had a wonderful Wednesday.

Today, during circle time we read Pumpkin Soup. For our first activity, we used pipe cleaners and plastic spider rings to work on our lacing skills. For our second small group activity, we worked on identifying and tracing numbers on pumpkins. For our final small group, we used our handprints to spell the word BOO. We had a terrific Tuesday.

Today, during circle time read Goodnight Goon. For our first small group, we used candy corn to trace letters, and then we got to snack on the pieces! For our second small group, we counted spiders on their webs, and then identified the number that went with the amount by coloring it. For our final small group, we took the "guts" out of pumpkins and saved the seeds to cook them! We had a marvelous Monday.

Today, we got to watch a video about England because it's cultural day! For our first activity, we got to work together to finish making the Flag of England. For our second activity, we matched numbers to the windows on a bus. For our final activity, we got to try different types of tea. We had a fantastic Friday.

Today, during circle time we read Dinosaur Hunter. For our first small group, we matched dinosaurs by their color or the shape that was on them. For our second small group, we practiced our writing skills by tracing lines that led from one dinosaur, to the next. For our final small group, we used toy dinosaurs to make foot print impressions on play-doh. We had an awesome day.
