It's our Friday! We spent the last day of our week soaking up the sun, learning, and playing with friends. For our first activity, we played I-Spy and found letters on our poster board. For our second activity, we traced the number 2 on white boards. We had an awesome short week!

Today, we continued to talk about letters and numbers! For our first activity, we made alphabet soup in the sensory bin and identified letters that we found. For our second small group activity, we did a number hunt and had to find the numbers on a piece of paper when our teacher called them out. For our final small group, we sorted the letter "B" by whether it was uppercase or lowercase.  We also celebrated our August birthdays during breakfast! We had a wonderful Wednesday.

Today, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and did our activity time outside! For our first activity, we used paint-dotters to make the letter "B". For our second group, we used play-doh and rolled it to trace the letter "B". For our final small group, we used pom-poms to create numbers 1-10. We had a terrific Tuesday.

Today, during circle time we read Pinkalicious Goes to School. For our first small group activity, we practiced tracing the letters of our name. For our second small group activity, we put numbers 1-8 in their correct order. For our final small group, we used shaving cream to practice writing our number and letter of the week! We had a marvelous Monday.

Today, during circle time we read Dinosaur's First Day. During activity time, we got to color a picture of a crayon, and talk about our favorite colors! We also got to use paint and a paintbrush to trace the letters of our names, and identify them while we did. We had a wonderful Wednesday.

Today, during circle time we read Pete the Cat, Rocking in My School Shoes. For our first small group, we did a science experiment by poking pencils through bags filled with water. For our second small group, we practiced writing the letter "A"in shaving cream with our fingers! For our final small group, we listened to our teacher call out numbers, and then we found them on our paper, and colored them to identify the right one. We had a terrific Tuesday.
