The rain did not stop us from having fun. This week, we will be learning all about the rain forest. During circle time, we read Chicka Boom Boom. Next, during activities, we made rain by heating up a cup of water and putting a tin pan on top. Next, each child got to put an ice cube on the pan and watch the ice cubes turn into rain. Then, during our second activity, we got to play a game of Simon says rain forest animals. Finally, in our last group, we went outside and left a measuring cup. We will then see if we collect as much rain as the rain in the rain forest. Rainy days can be so much fun!
