Today, during circle time we read A Rainy Day. For our first small group, we practiced writing in shaving cream and pretended it was snow! For our second small group, we counted pictures of clouds and the sun and identified which number corresponded with the amount. For our final small group, we played weather bingo! We had a fantastic Friday.

Today, during circle time we read I See Summer. For our first small group activity, we used paint dotters to create a rainbow! For our second small group, we matched pictures of different types of weather. For our final small group, we sorted different clothing items or food times by whether you have them when the weather is hot or cold. We had a wonderful Thursday.

Today, during circle time we read Storm Is Coming. For our first small group, we used shaving cream as clouds to fill with blue food coloring and then watched as it seeped through like rain does when a cloud gets full! For our second small group, we matched pictures of different types of weather to their words. For our final small group, we identified numbers on umbrellas and then put that many pom pom rain drops on the corresponding number. We had a terrific Tuesday.

Today was the start of our weather theme and during circle time we read The Wind Blew. For our first small group, we traced the letters in different weather words. For our second small group, we put white and blue pom-poms on paper as clouds to create a storm on paper that we will finish later this week. For our final small group, we identified numbers on rain puddles. We had a marvelous Monday.

Today, during circle time we read Gus Loses a Tooth. For our first small group activity, we made patterns with pictures of germs! For our second small group, we practiced our scissor skills by following "germ trails" to cut. For our final small group, we put ABC teeth in their correct order. We had a great day.

Today, during circle time we read Hippo's Tooth Surprise! For activities, we traced lines to help work on our writing skills. We also put play-doh on legos and then used yarn as floss to get the "gunk" out of the teeth. We had a wonderful Wednesday.
