Today was the first day of our new theme: Pets, Family and All About Me! We started out by reading I Like Myself and talking about how each one of us is different. In our first small group activity, we played pet bingo and talked about the different kinds of pets people might have at home. Our second small group identified body parts and sang along with the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." We came together as a large group for our last activity, and talked about how all of us have different fingerprints. Then, we used glue to trace a fingerprint and sprinkled salt on the glue. We added watercolor and watched the color spread along the salt. We had a great day!
