Today, we had our last visit from Mrs. Ashley. We got to work together to make play-doh that had pumpkin in it, so it smelled great! We celebrated the first day of our school year with more back-to-school activities. Our first small group, we got to match uppercase and lowercase letters on school bus stop signs. In our second small group, we rolled dice and then colored the apple that matched the number we rolled. In our third small group, we made "jitter juice" to represent back-to-school excitement. We put sprinkles and food coloring in Sprite and dropped in an antacid tablet to watch it fizz. We also got to celebrate the birthday of one of our classmates today. We had a terrific Tuesday!
