Today, at circle time, we read Good Morning, Pond. We discussed what ponds were and what types of wildlife live in or near them. For our first small group activity, we hopped like frogs to lily pads when the corresponding shapes were called. Next, we explored the sensory bin that started as a pond scene before turning into a mud pit! As our last activity, we practiced our writing skills by tracing lines and shapes. It was a great Monday!
