We ended our cultural week by reading All About China at circle time. Our Star of the Week also shared her homemade board, favorite toy, and favorite book with us! For our first small group activity, we again explored rice and noodles in the sensory bin, but with an added twist. We used chop sticks to pick up letters that we then identified. We worked in small groups to count lucky gold coins from red envelopes, and we determined which group had the most for our second activity. As a whole group, we created symmetrical dragons. We painted on one side of our papers with vivid colors and then folded the papers over to create identical paintings on the other side. We have also been enjoying our time outside, finally! It was a fun Friday!
