Fun day Friday calls for movie watching during circle time! Instead of our usual book reading, we watched a video based off of the book The Mitten. We also based our first activity off of the book, by identifying which animals got in the mitten and then pretending to be those animals, climbing inside the giant mitten that Mrs. Kat made! For our second activity, we made patterns by using pictures of different clothing we use in the winter time. For our final activity, we talked about how the mitten was a different color in the movie compared to the book and then we chose which color we wanted to paint our mitten with! We had a fantastic Friday.
