Today, during circle time, we read Eggs to Chickens. For our first small group, we put chicks in numerical order behind the momma hen whose number was zero and the chicks went all the way up to number sixteen. For our second small group, we used a cup, a string, and a wet paper towel to mimic the sound of a hen after watching the video of a hen clucking! For our final small group, we did a colored egg hunt in the sensory bin, and put the eggs in their corresponding bowls after grabbing them with tongs. We had an "egg-cellent" day!
