Today, during circle time, we read The Big Red Barn. For our first small group, we counted animals and matched the amount to the number written on a picture of a barn. For our second small group, we did an animal hunt in the sensory bin! We dug through loads of hay and oats to find animals that matched the pictures on the outside of the bin. For our final small group, we practiced spelling by using a picture of an animal along with the animal name and we matched foam letters to the letters on the papers. We had a marvelous Monday!
