It's terrific Thursday, which means we had a ton of fun stuff in store for today. After breakfast, we had a special guest that gave each of us a quick vision screening. For circle time, we watched Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? For our first small group, we sorted items by what sense they related to. For example, we put a stinky skunk with our sense of smell! For our second small group, we explored magnifying glasses, and we also tried to lace large beads while wearing eye patches. For our final small group, we looked through books, felt different materials and textures, and then talked about what they felt and looked like. We had a great day.
