This week, our focus will be on Laura Numeroff and her books! At circle time, we watched a video of the story If You Give A Cat A Cupcake. For our first small group activity, we made cupcakes by matching icing to color words. We worked together to decorate a class cupcake with thick, colorful glue icing and sparkly sprinkles for our second small group. Then, as our large group activity, we got to experiment with real cupcakes! We used different senses to explore our treats and recorded our findings on a chart. We had a wonderful Monday!
