Hola amigos! Today, we celebrated Cinco De Mayo and we watched a video of fun facts about Mexico for circle time. During our first small group, we matched letters together that were written on ponchos. For our second small group, we made our own sombreros! We used red, green, and yellow pompom balls to create patterns on the sombreros. For our final small group, we drew our interpretation of the desert and then made cactus hand prints on our drawings. We coated our hands in green paint mixed with black rice that acted as spines on the cactus. We had a very festive Friday!
