At circle time, we read the book St. Patrick's Day. As our first small group activity, we used rainbow colored bead necklaces to make shapes on large, green paper. We identified letters on shamrocks and used our small muscles to put green dots on our shamrocks spots for our second small group. Then, as our last small group activity, we made shimmering green volcanoes that smelled like green apples using baking soda, kool-aid, glitter, and water. It was a wonderful Wednesday!
