Today, during circle time we read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. For our first small group we looked at numbers on fish bowls, and then added that many gold fish to the bowl. For our second small group we chose marbles out of a fish bowl, and matched the letter written on it to the letter on a piece of paper. For our final small group we experimented with red and blue water by soaking the colored water onto a paper towel, and combining the paper towels into one cup to see what results we got! We had an awesome day.

Today, during circle time we read Dr. Seuss's ABC Book. For our first small group we made patterns with red, white, and blue pom-pom balls. For our second small group we colored on coffee filers with marker, and then dripped water on it to see the colors disperse. For our large group we played with play-dough and made truffula trees, like in Dr. Seuss' books!

Today, during circle time we read Stopped. For activities we got to watch short films from The Land Before Time, which went perfect with our dinosaur theme this week! It was such a fantastic Friday.

Today, during circle time we read Pet Dinosaur. For our first small group we made dinosaur fossils with clay. For our second small group we connected the dots to complete our dinosaur drawing, and then we colored them. For our large group we made dinosaur tracks, by painting with dinosaurs. We had a terrific day.

Today, during circle time we read How Does a Dinosaur Go to School? For our first small group, we matched dinosaur eggs by matching letters. For our second small group we made dinosaurs by using shapes like triangles and squares. For our final small group we used water color, vinegar, and baking soda to make fizzy dinosaur eggs. We had an awesome day.

Today, during circle time we read How Does a Dinosaur Get Well Soon? Our first small group we matched dinosaurs by their type and their color. For our second small group we laced dinosaurs. During our large group we used q-tips to make a dinosaur skeleton. We had a roaring good day!

Today, during circle time we read The Dinosaur That Lived in my Backyard. For our first small group we explored dinosaurs and dinosaur bones in the sensory bin. For our second small group we put spikes on our dinosaurs by matching numbers on clothes pins to numbers on the dinosaur. For our final small group we saved dinosaurs by melting the ice they were frozen in. We had a great day.

Today, during circle time we read Slugs in Love. During our first small group we weighed candy hearts and paper hearts, and we talked about which one weighed more by using a scale. For our second small group we put hearts bag together, by matching the letters. Finally, in our last small group we made candy hearts dance by using vinegar and baking soda. We had a fantastic Friday.
