Today for circle time, we read The Silly Snowman. For our two small groups, we matched boots and hats ABC's and then made snowflake peppermint soup! We practiced measuring our water, shaking in our glitter spices, picking out our perfect snowflake with tongs, and lastly stirring it all together with peppermint extract! The kids had a blast and loved how delicious it smelled! For our large group, we made a penguin out of shapes! We talked about what shapes made up our penguins such as rectangles for his body, circles for his eyes, ovals for his wings, a triangle for his beak, and hearts for his feet! Winter is coming!
