To end our short school week, we read The Amazing Turkey Rescue at circle time today. We reviewed, briefly, why we celebrate Thanksgiving, and we talked about the things that we were looking forward to as we head into a holiday break. We enjoyed lots of play time, and also got caught up on our keepsake crafts. For our large group activity, we worked on our fine motor skills as we strung pasta on fuzzy sticks, before tying off our finished projects to take home. We had fun putting everything together, and we are excited, as well as proud, to show them off! Today was a terrific Tuesday!
