To continue our Thanksgiving theme today, we read Run,Turkey, Run! We enjoyed finding the turkey on each page again in this story, after we talked about why the turkey would be scared during this time of year. We participated in three small group activities today, as well. As our first small group, we helped our turkeys find their feathers by matching uppercase letters. We helped more turkeys with their feathers by matching shapes in our second small group activity. Lastly, we conducted an experiment with fresh and dried cranberries in cups of water and Sprite. We had a blast watching as the fresh cranberries floated, and the dried cranberries danced up and down. It was a wonderful Wednesday!
