This week we are back at school and learning about leaves and acorns! At circle time, we read Colorful Leaves. We sorted a big pile of leaves by color and put them up on our trees in the orchard for our first small group. For our second small group activity, we looked at different types of leaves and examined them with our magnifying glasses. We talked about their colors, shapes, and sizes as we investigated the leaves. Finally, as a large group, we made masterpieces with fall colors and leaf rubbings! It was a marvelous Monday!
