To end our community helpers week, today we read Doctor Ted. Our activities focused on things that doctors can use to help keep us safe and healthy. For our first small group, we unwrapped Band-Aids and counted as we put them on our teddy bear. We tried out our very own stethoscopes for our second small group activity. First, we got our heart rates up with some jumping jacks, and then we used our tools to listen to our heartbeats! For our whole group, we painted murals with plastic sensory gloves. We enjoyed feeling the various materials in the gloves, working together to share and mix colors, and we had a blast creating a very unique masterpiece. We had a fun Friday! Have a great weekend!
