During circle time today, we read Farm Animals. We had fun listening to the descriptions, and then calling out the names of the animals. As one of our small groups, we identified numbers on carrots and counted green, leafy tops. For our second small group activity, we investigated various vegetable seeds with magnifying glasses, and talked about how they looked, as well as how they felt in our bags. We identified F as our letter of the week, and painted with straw for our whole group activity. It was a terrific Tuesday!
