To get back in the swing of things, this week we are learning about zoos and animals. During circle time we read The View from the Zoo, identified the letter A, and also talked about friends whose names begin with that letter. For one of our small group activities we put together lego puzzles and identified what animal they made. We reached in to a hungry alligator to identify letters that were chomped for our second small group. Then for our large group activity we talked about different animals, their motions, and their sounds. We even got to pretend in the motor room! We had a magnificent Monday!
