Today, for one of our small groups we used cookie-cutters and made stars out of play dough. For our other small group we made patterns out of fireworks, flags, and stars. For our large group we painted flags with red and blue paint. We had a great day!

Today, during circle time we read Curious George Goes Camping. For one of our small groups we matched stars with numbers on them. For our other small group we made fireworks in a bottle! We mixed water, oil, and food coloring, and watched as the colors dispersed. For our large group we practiced our tracing skills by tracing USA. We had an amazing day!

Today, during circle time we read One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. For one of our small groups we counted red and blue balloons. For our other small group we explored red white and blue items in the sensory bin. For our large group, we painted and made it looks like fireworks exploded on our papers! We had an awesome day.

Today, during circle time we read The Very Busy Spider. For one of our small groups we counted how many flies were stuck to the spider web! For our other small group we practiced our cutting skills and cut apart pieces of white yarn, and pretended it made pieces of a spider web. For our large group we traced spider webs in glue, and then decorated them with glitter. We had a fantastic Friday.

Today, during circle time we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? For one of our small groups we got to play a game! We rolled a die, and whatever color it landed on we found the matching colored animal. For our other small group we made bracelets after identifying animals and their colors. For our large group, we made secondary colors, using water and food coloring. We had an awesome day.
