Today, during circle time we read Rain. For one of our small groups we identified a word through a picture, and then added the missing letter to the word with a magnet. For our other small group we made it rain! We soaked cotton balls in water mixed with blue water color paint, and then squeezed them to make the water come out. We had a fantastic Friday.

Today, before circle time we got to hear all about our Star of the Week's board and have breakfast with him and his mom! During circle time we read A Rainbow of My Own. For one of our small groups we sorted legos by color, and then made patterns with them. For our other small group we made fizzy rainbow colors! For our large group we used contact paper, cotton balls, and pieces of colored paper to make a rainbow collage. We had a wonderful day!

Today, during circle time we read Raindrop Plop. For one of our small groups we did umbrella math! For our other small group we made clouds in a jar! We used jars filled with water, put shaving cream in them, and then added blue water color paint for rain. For our large group we painted with blue and white paint and used q-tips and cotton balls to paint with. We had an awesome day!

Today, during circle time we read Rainbows. For one of our small groups we went on a scavenger hunt for materials that were the colors of the rainbow! For our other small group, we explored the sensory bin, and sorted the colored objects we found. For our large group we used pipe-cleaners, styrofoam and beads to make our own rainbows. We had an amazing day!!

Today, during circle time we read Rain Drops. For one of our small groups we sorted clouds and raindrops by size. For our other small group we explored the sensory table and found marbled raindrops with letters written on them, and then we identified the letter. For our large group we painted by using blue raindrops! We had a fantastic day!
