21 days until Christmas! Today we read Windows To Color. During circle time we got a special delivery from the North Pole! It was Elf on the Shelf!!! We read his book and learned we could not touch him or he would lose his magic. We also started thinking about a name for him, but are waiting for our other friends to come on Monday to vote on a name. So far we have come up with Elfie, Sparkles, Prancer, and Ashes. In our small groups, we mixed watercolors in water to see what colors we could make. We also took lego blocks and matched the color and size that was on the paper. We talked about what shape it made and the color we used. In our large group, we drew shapes on marker boards and wrote the letter R! We also pointed out whose names start with R and whose names have R in them. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
