This week is Five Senses week! We read Color Dance, a book that talked about colors and mixing colors. We experimented with colors ourselves by mixing watercolor paints. We explored colored shapes on the light table by talking about the shape names and characteristics such as color and number of sides. We also identified numbers, wrote the number with our fingers or pressed the number magnet on a gel bag, and showed how many fingers represented each number. We also tried putting the numbers in order and did a pretty good job of doing so! At review time, we went over our five senses and talked about which ones we used in our activities.
