Today, we read Giggle, Giggle, Quack. In small groups, we used farm pattern cards to play a matching game. We also "sheered sheep." We covered laminated sheep pictures with shaving cream and used squeegees to take off the sheep's "wool." In large group, we used our fine motor skills to pick corn kernels off of a dry ear of corn with metal tweezers. Then, we put the skills we learned to the test by using plastic tweezers and egg cartons to pick up corn off of the table and put the kernels into the cartons. Later, we played a little kickball outside!
