Today, we read The Best Mouse Cookie! Next, we made chocolate chip cookies! When we melted the butter in the microwave we talked about how it was a hard solid and then it melted into a runny liquid because it got hot. As we mixed the cookies we talked about the sequencing of what happened in the story. Then, we sorted cookies by the color of the chips in the cookies. Later, we colored cookie pictures with crayons.
