Today, we read Dear Deer. Next, we took turns putting together different animals puzzles. Then, we explored ramps. We found items that do and don't roll. We also raced different cars down the ramps. Later, we made pictures with colored glue! We had a fun week playing and exploring new things. Don't forget, next week is teacher work week

Today, we read I Ain't Gonna Paint No More! Next, we used paintbrushes to paint rubber bands that were around paint trays and then snapped the rubber bands and the paint splattered onto our papers! Then, we stacked spools. Later, we used our pinchers to pull tape off the table! The blue painters tape was too easy for us, so we also used duct tape! We had an exciting day!

Today, we read Counting Bears. Next, we sorted pom pom balls and craft sticks into separate bowls and talked about their differences. Then, we made colorful pictures with paint dot markers! Later, we explored the magnets! We also made shadows on the light table, explored gears, pretended with the animals, and played outside!

Today, we read Dot and Dash Learn to Share. Next, we used craft sticks that had velcro on the ends to create different things. We line them up, hooked them together in a line, and made shapes with them. Then, we went on a nature walk and took our magnifying glasses with us. We brought our finds inside to examine them even closer. We also read books, explored animals, played dress up, and did puzzles. In the motor room, we had fun sing and dancing with rhythm sticks!

This week is our last week before teacher work week! We are going to do as much fun and exciting playing and exploring as we can! Today, we read Press Here. This interactive book is full of silly fun! Next, we explored bristle blocks that have comb-like teeth that make them connect to each other. Then, we painted using scented conditioner and watercolors on foil paper. We started out with brushes, but the smooth touch of the conditioner was too tempting to resist so we ended up finger painting! Later, we laced wooden beads and stacked them and did puzzles.

Matching Animals and Mixing Paint!

Today, we read Who Are You? and Class Two at the Zoo. Next, we matched our plastic zoo animals to pictures of real zoo animals. Then, we explored colors and color mixing with no mess finger painting! Later, we popped bubble wrap! We also rode the big swing in the motor room! Happy Friday!

Water Day!

Today, we read Wacky Wild Peek A Boo. And then, it was time for water day!!! We had so much fun washing cars, spraying each other, and splashing in the water! We also played swinging kickball in the motor room! What a fun day!
