Today, we read Hooray for Fish! Next, we explored a touch and feel box with beach and ocean related items in it. We found a ball, a fish, a towel, seashells, water, and sand in the box. As we pulled out each item we talked about what we could do with it. Then, we looked at pictures of real sea creatures and matched our sea creature figures to the pictures. Later, we put arms (clothespins) on our octopus. We counted the number of circles on each arm and identified each written number. Don't forget about Donuts for Dad on Monday!
