This week is all about Eggs, Chicks and Bunnies! Today, we read Welcome Spring! In groups, we explored shaky sound eggs where we shook eggs and listened to the sounds each egg made when we shook it. We talked about which eggs sounded the same and different. We also sorted eggs by color. One at a time we took turns picking an egg out of the basket, labeled the color and then put it in the egg carton by eggs of the same color. We also counted the eggs to see which color had the most eggs! It was green! Ask your kids to see if they remember! Later, we took turns using strainer spoons to scoop eggs out of the water table. We had a fun Monday!
