Today, we read
The Gingerbread Family, a fun scratch-and-sniff book! We continued our sniffing with our sensory activity of smelling different scented items. We smelled honey, peppermint, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and a snip of a pine tree. Next, we sorted jingle bells! We talked about sizes: small, medium, and big. We also listened to the sounds they made. The big bells were louder than the small bells. In the motor room, we ran as fast as we could, like the gingerbread man! We also tiptoed, crawled, hopped, tried to crab walk, and scooted on scooters. Last, we practiced our fine motor skills with a pre-writing tracing sheet. We also had fun just coloring the snowflakes on the sheet. We had a fun day!
