Today, we read Feast for 10 and then we had our own pretend Thanksgiving dinner! We practiced using our manners by saying "please, pass the ..." and "thank you." We used wooden and metal utensils and dishes to make kitchen music. We also played outside and made a picture with Thanksgiving stamps. We hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving break! See you Monday!

Monday, we read I am Thankful. We built with blocks, explored our sensory table, threw leaves up in the air with the parachute, made contact paper mats and explored our new plate puzzles!

Today, we read Squirrel Nutkin! We sorted and matched feathers by color, filled and dumped corn from cup to cup, painted with feathers and played in the motor room. Ms. Coli, from the Camden County Library, read books and sang songs too us today too! We had a fun Friday!

Today, we read Pumpkin Time. We poked feathers into play dough and went on a pumpkin hunt around the classroom. We got to back outside today since all the snow had finally melted off of the playground. Next, we sorted craft sticks and pom pom balls into two containers.

Singing and dancing!

Today, we read Bear Says Thank You and as we read through it we said and signed "thank you" along with the story. We put feathers on our felt turkey, colored our Thanksgiving projects, tossed bean bags into hoops, push a tractor in a circle of friends, and sang and danced to "Run, Baby, Run!" We had a busy day!

Today, after singing "Weather Watcher" and dressing Weather Cat we talked about the snow that was on the ground and then we read What Can You Do in the Snow? Next, we got messy with pumpkin mix and cranberry sauce! It was fun to feel the different textures and smell the different scents. We laced noodles onto pipe cleaners for a Thanksgiving project, looked at Thanksgiving puzzles, made a torn paper turkey, and put beads onto our fine motor turkey. We also put on some new dress up clothes that Wal-Mart donated to us! (Thanks Wal-Mart!) We had a fun day!
